Project Description:
Changchun TV Digital HD OB Van is the first of a HD OB Van using the latest digital mixing system STUDER VISTA5. February 4, 2007, the sixth Asian Winter Games in Changchun successfully concluded. Changchun TV HD OB Van broadcast the event with successful completion of the task. STUDER VISTA5 consistent continuation of the excellent quality and high stability, for security coverage provides important protection. In addition, in the system design we also consider the safety backup, at output signal, the analog output of main and slave mixer were connected to the OB Van interface, and the digital output of main and slave mixer were connected to MasterSync then sent to the interface of OB Van and embedded devices. Thus, once the main signal occured problems, can be automatically detected by the MasterSync then switch to master or slave channel, or manually switch to the backup program signals, flexible and convenient solution to the backup problem, simplify the overall structure of the system. Meanwhile, OB Van is also equipped with a full range of DolbyE encoding and decoding devices, which can be broadcast and production around the program.

The OB Van have total of 11 channels, with surround sound production capabilities to meet the major sports events, variety shows and broadcast in need, and synchronization with the international development trend. As a northeast of China first HD OB Van, it is put into use for the sixth Asian Winter Games opening and closing ceremonies and various events such as freestyle skiing to provide a strong technical support, comprehensive to ensure the smooth Asian Winter Games broadcast.
