Advanced Communication Equipment (Int'l) Co., Ltd. (ACE) held an annual meeting in Shanghai Orental Land Hotel on 16th-20th September 2010. The theme of the annual meeting is "WE BUILD . WE SHARE".

In the annual meeting, we shared with colleagues in the industry reviewed ACE experienced from the celebration of 50th to 60th National Day, from the Shanghai Grand Theater to the National Theatre, from Shanghai Stadium to the National Stadium, from Boao Forum for Asia to Europe and Asia Forum, from Beijing Olympic Games to Shanghai World Expo.

Mr. Roger Hayler, the Technical Director of ACE, completely introduced the outdoor sound reinforcement systems of the Shanghai World Expo. In the opening ceremony of the Expo, the audio system is the most important level in the two sides of Huangpu River have placed more than 450 loudspeakers, along with the amplifiers more than 300 kilowatts. Because of the long distance of two sides, so we had to used optical fiber to communicate each other and control the equipments, there were 64km optical fibers. Also there had over 170 processors in the network. The core of all the audio system is a digital audio matrix. This matrix connects 800x800 input and output point, and there were 15 Stage boxes in riverside area. Audio system has two parts features, the first is the audio playback, it must cover two sides of Huangpu River, VVIP in Celebration Square, VIP area, Performing area, TV OB van, and give the monitoring signal to the production team for the opening ceremony. The second is the most important feature, which is provides synchronization signals along the river to the lighting, video, fireworks and fountains systems, if there something wrong with the matrix, everything would be stopped.

Ms. Pan Gui Hua of ACE, introduced the system of Expo Performing Arts Center. Ms. Guo Feng introduced completely of Expo Cultural Center. Mr. You Jia Bin analyzed the Expo outside performing system. Since the opening from the Expo, the equipments of ACE provided safe and reliable to ensure the smooth progress of the activities.

In addition, Mr. Liu Tao of ACE explained the sound reinforcement system structure and operation of 60th National Ceremony. This reconstruction project started only a short period of 100 days, ACE finished PA system's transformation of Tian An Men rostrum, East and West viewing stand, 6 digital apparatus rooms, more than 400km cable underground laying, 150 super large column loudspeakers processing and loading, The PA system of Tian An Men Square, nearby 18 signal collection points, 60 mass pageant celebrations points and 33 evacuation points, 32 mobile control points between East Red wall and Beijing Railway Station, picking up the sound of army and military equipment. The Leaders and the Radio, Film and TV State Administration think highly of ACE, because the PA system of 60th National Ceremony, no equipment had problem at this time.
